Mills Products Hires R&D Manager with 35 Years of Experience

Mills Products, a leading American metal former committed to producing superior hydroformed, roll formed, and tube stamped parts for the automotive and appliance industries, has appointed David Brinker its R&D Manager.

Prior to joining Mills, Brinker worked for over 25 years in the research and development Model Shop for the Jenn-Air division of Maytag Corporation (and then subsequently Whirlpool Corporation), holding positions as both Senior Model Maker and Manager of the Model Shop. While there, he developed best design practices for the use of 3D models across the engineering departments and collaborated with engineering teams in North America, South America, India, Italy, and Poland.

Brinker also worked for a number of years as an instructor at the Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis, Indiana, teaching sheet metal layout and fabrication. In total, he has 35 years of experience in the metal, machine, and building trades.

“I am thrilled to be here at Mills Products and honored to hold the position as their R&D Manager,” said Brinker. “I am very excited to join this extremely talented, passionate and truly professional organization. In the short time I have been here, it has become very apparent to me that the employees at Mills are committed to excellence, deliver the finest quality products, and show their dedication and desire to exceed our customers’ expectations.”

“We’re very happy that Dave decided to join our company,” said Darrell Adcock, President of Mills Products. “His many years of experience in the R&D and prototype areas will add depth to our team.”
